Ninja Tattoo Dojo
Your aim decides your tattoo.
This is no ordinary tattoo parlor. Kanji written on paper fall from above. Hit them with your shuriken, and the characters you strike form a Japanese word. Then the master inks it on his apprentice's arm, whether it means "hero" or "ceiling". One 30-second round, right in your browser.
How to play
- Check the base kanjiThe fan in the top corner shows 天, 無, 不 or 豪. That is the first half of your word.
- Throw your shurikenDrag on a computer, swipe on a phone. Shuriken fly in an arc, so aiming takes a little practice.
- Pick a word and get inkedChoose one of the words you made. The master explains what it means, with zero mercy.

What makes it fun
75 words, 75 roasts
Every word comes with its own comment from the master, who has opinions about all of them.
Better words fall faster
Each word has a one to three star rank, and the kanji for three-star words drop the fastest. Pick well and the apprentice grins. Pick badly and he cries.
A tiny kanji lesson
You will walk away knowing what a few Japanese words mean, and which ones not to get tattooed.
Words chosen by a puzzle maker
The word list was picked by a puzzle maker with twenty years of making Japanese word puzzles.
