Too Tall to Read?

One long screenshot, folded into one readable image.

Post a long scrolling screenshot and the text shrinks to crumbs. Too Tall to Read folds that tall strip into numbered columns, like a newspaper page, so it stays one image and the words stay big enough to read.

Good for

  • SharingPost an AI chat or message thread at a size people can read
  • ReadingMake sense of a giant screenshot someone sent you
  • KeepingSave recipes, instructions and conversations as one page

  • ReviewingSee the whole thing at once to compare and check

What it does

  • Columns are automatic

Pick an image and the app works out how many columns it needs. Nothing to configure.

  • Numbered reading order

Each column is numbered, so whoever sees it knows where to start and where to go next.

  • Pictures stay whole

Breaks go into blank space, so photos and charts are not cut in half. You can nudge a break by hand if you like.

  • A clean rectangle every time

When columns end at different heights, the gap is filled with the screen's own background color.

Questions

How is this different from apps that split a screenshot?

It does not split anything. The long image is folded into columns, like a newspaper, and stays one image. The shape fits social feeds, so text stays readable and nobody has to swipe through a stack of pieces in order.

Do I choose the number of columns?

No. The app picks the number of columns from the length of your image, and adds numbers so people know the reading order.

Will photos or charts in the middle get cut in half?

The app looks for blank space to place each break, so pictures and figures are kept whole. You can also move a break by hand.

What kinds of screenshots does it work with?

Any tall scrolling capture: long AI conversations, chat histories, web pages, recipes, social media threads and so on.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. It is on iPhone now, and the Android version is being prepared for release.

In Japan, the app is called タテのものをヨコにする.
